Croc replacement parts

Let's just say I was more than excited when I learned that you can get FREE replacement rivets and/or straps for Crocs from crocs.com . Within moments I transformed 2 pair of broken kids crocks into functional shoes. I have heard of others having this issue so I thought It would be nice to share this little tid bit.

Apparently they're made to break kinda easily in case they get caught. So ur foot doesn't get caught too. But exciting news for me since I just broke my fave pair this am.

Unfortunately this is no longer true. I emailed customer service and they won't sell me rivets. And they didn't offer to give me any. They only offered to replace the crocs if they were less than 4 months old (which they aren't - worn less than that, but owned longer). Pity.

So, after reading on this site that Crocs.com would replace rivets and or straps, this is what i found when i went to the crocs.com webiste:
They do NOT currently replace rivets or straps. Not sure where this person got that they do. See link below.
