Maine Man had an early start at planting this season. For seedlings so far he has started: kale, tomato, peppers, lettuce, onions, cabbage, beets, and broccoli.
MM reached deep into his squeaky pockets and paid a whopping $6.00 for tomato seed at Johnny's. Have I ever mentioned before how frugal (tight) he is? It was a painful experience for him but they are especially suited for the greenhouse. Can you guess what is hatching today here on the homestead? You'll just have to come on back to see some great pictures in my next post.

Great pics...I so love seed starting. I am a zone 5-6 so we only have a few things in the ground now and they were nicely covered with the snow fall yesterday. I love this time of year, I can smell things starting to grow.
love seeing what you're planting, I put herbs in my herb garden today (bought from the store cos I didn't start any seeds off this year), can't wait to see what's hatching!
Lovely!
Amy
