Back in the game.... it has been a while since I participated in Sunday Stills. Above is some garlic we planted last fall. We planted 3 types in which I only remember the name of one, Red Russian. I bought 2 varieties at a local grange hall sale from a lady that works at Johnny's. The other variety was purchased at the grocery store and I haven't a clue what it is. We are real good about planting around here but when it comes to keeping track of varieties we re REALLY lacking. I will attempt to better organize our garden records this year.

That was wacked. A comment from nabalike trying to sell whole watches. What is up with that?
Great Photos!
I am thinking about broilers too. Also, garlic is on my list for fall. GMTA. Let me know how much your plucker costs!
Great green! I love daffodils! Wow you sure got a lot of broilers!
great shots, glad to have ya back.. :-)
Seeing the first picture made me smile right away, your garlic looks so much like mine.... and I love garlic!! Do you eat the green shoots as well?
Wonderful shots...I love the daffodils!! :)
Well done. Happy to have you back.

:)
Beautiful daffodils you have, and it sounds like you're going to have a great garden! Good to see you again!
I got a weirdo comment once from a guy from India who wanted to introduce me to his guru. What the frick is up with that?
Spring on the farm! I love the photos, esp. the one of the chickens. They look so orderly and polite all lined up at the feed been. Frankly, better table manners than my kids.
I think garlic must be an herbal cause of forgetting...I planted 3 types and I remember their names but I can't remember which was in which row! It all eats fine though so that's all that really matters!
We are growing about everything except garlic!! I'll have to plant some this fall. Broilers? I'm thinking KFC...YUM!!!
Love the changes you made to your blog! Beautiful!
Great looking garlic! Looks kinda like mine. I only planted 1 kind this year(first time in planting garlic).
Great perspective on the garlic shot! Well done:)
Great pictures!
Sounds like lots of fresh chicken and dumplins in your future!

I am really interest in your chicken plucker. I am curious where you found your plans. I would really appreciate any information on it. By the way great photos.
Thanks for all your comments, always appreciated.
ADF, my husband is using the book called "Anyone Can Build A Uub-Style Mechanical Plucker" by Herrick Kimball. It was gifted to us by Angie (fellow blogger) at Children in the Corn, you can find her on my side bar. She posted on this as well.
