The first greens of the season were devoured by Maine Man this past Friday the 13th. If I remember correctly, last year we ate our first greenhouse greens on April 12th. Tomorrow night I plan to make up a tasty salad with with some homemade dressing after being inspired by this post. I will make it with “Artison” extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar I recently purchased from a local market. Maybe I’ll post a recipe if I come up with a good one.
I’ll end this post with a few things I am thankful for this weekend…
- warm weather
- long hikes
- neighbors that are like family
- my bee suit
- spring peepers
- kids that care
- my hard working man
- chores that provide me with time to reflect on all I should be grateful for

Nice! We've been warm temperatures here too, yesterday it was 77 degrees and it is already 69 degrees here this morning.

Your greens look lovely!!
Spring Peepers are definitely a blessing. Glad I am not the only one who thinks so.
How are the bees? Let's have a post!
Yes, spring peepers. Was outside at dusk and it felt like summer listening to those guys in the pond! Stevie@ruffledfeathersandspilledmilk.com
Impressive greens, but we have no such love popping up in Aroostook County as of yet... So sad. The peepers though are here with a vengeance! And how happy they make me.
