Not sure why it was so trivial.
Someone on facebook mentioned garlic scape pesto. I was interested so I googled it. Found a recipe here.
Then I made it in no time. SIMPLE & DELICIOUS!
1/2 lb garlic scapes
1 cup olive oil
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
BLEND & SERVE
Good in scrambled eggs, omelettes, quiche, over pasta, home fries, on toast, pizza......
For long term storage I froze in ice cube trays then placed cubes in a ziploc.

Sounds very delicious! I just stir-fry my garlic scapes.
I almost skipped this post because I didn't know what garlic scapes were. Glad I decided to check it out. This sounds wonderful.
Looks delicious! I am planting our first garlic this coming October! I am looking forward to growing our own and making lots of pesto.
Thanks for the recipe!
Yum! That sounds *really* good!
If you want to, you can look me up on Facebook - Sarah Heiner. I'd be happy to see you over there!
That sounds great! My garlic was all ruined by floods this year but I will plant more in the fall!
