Flower Girl’s rabbits didn’t produce all summer despite much efforts. Come Fall babies are being born. Same with some of the ducks that hatched late in the season. Baby Bunny anyone, you know you want one!
We have actually been looking for a couple of bunnies to make some lovely compost for us:) We have a great chicken coup that we thought about building a hutch in for them:) How many available do you have and what kind/size will they be???
It may not be the does fault. Buck rabbits can go sterile during hot weather and may take up to 3 months to become fertile again. If you want summertime litters keep your buck someplace cool.
Oh, sure we do!
ReplyDeleteOur own dear bunny baby met a heartbreaking fate. We hope to bring home a new baby bunny... maybe next spring. Yours looks adorable.

ReplyDeleteMy girl has 3 babies, black probably ready in a couple weeks. She has some bigger ones too she'd probably part with.
ReplyDeleteThat her girls didn't produce babies all summer is interesting. My Silver Fox wouldn't breed until September.
