Titleless Tuesday

Had it been Wednesday I would have titled it Wordless Wednesday but .......it was not! God knows I can't post without writing something ;)
I have a hundred or so photos to download but not without a charged battery.
Looking for a used camera if anyone local has one for sale? I have a point and click Kodak but I want more....more....zoom, macros. Maine Man caved and gave me some moola for my birthday although all he really wanted to buy me was a dishwasher. What a guy ;)

  1. Love the carrot! Sorry, I've just got a little digital Kodak as well. Well, we have a better one but it's generally too much trouble to get it out for everyday stuff and it doesn't travel as easily as my little one.

  2. I got so many of these zany carrots this year, do you know what causes them? Did we plant them too close together? Not thin them sufficiently? They have such personality, don't they? :-)

  4. What a carrot!! I don't seem to have luck with carrots. Every time I try to grow them they die on me, lol.

I have an Easy Share camera and it works pretty good. It is easy to load pics on the computer. The really bad thing about it is it doesn't take good pictures in a gym or auditorium. The pics. always turn out dark. I bring my trusty 35mm for those photos!

  5. Mandy-
if your is like mine, use the auto setting and no flash and do not zoom. do your zooming on your computer. A friend gave me these tips and it helps..although really, my gym pictures are mostly not so good if someone is moving much, so I shoot a bunch and if I get 5 good ones a night, that's why they have that delete button, right??

  7. Ghoulish! Maybe this is an early Halloween post, yes?

Gotta love the things carrots can do under there while the gardeners are going about the weeding and watering and whiling away time until harvest. Carrots have to be the most agile vegetables. Although I've seen tomatoes do some weird contortions too. (Sorry about your blight, btw. We had it too but limped through to a minor crop. What a year!)
